About this blog.

This blog is mostly dedicated to items I am parting ways with, and this is my small way of thanking them for their service.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 5PM EST, a new post will be made containing an illustration/painting of each item including a small story.

I’ve considered myself a minimalist since 2013. There is no ideal minimalist. I try to be conscious of what I’m consuming and mindful of what I’m purchasing. My type of minimalism may not be your type of minimalism. I have what I need to get by without the excess.

Thank you for joining me on my journey,

    1. Thank you! I have lots of posts scheduled and am making more. I’ll eventually have videos too! 🙂

  1. This is so creative! Thanks for visiting my blog. This is so creative! I love the idea of thanking things you’ve owned before letting them go. In the past, I’ve held onto things for years because they were attached to specific emotions or memories. I will have to adopt this mentality. Seems to me, it could prove to be very therapeutic.

  2. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love the way of documenting things before parting ways with them, which means their memories will remain eternally. I might try this as well! 🙂

  3. I love the way you’re sorting through your clothes here. A lot of times, people feel as though they should just dump their clothes in a pile and sort, and that doesn’t work for lots of people. (As you said, “My type of minimalism may not be your type of minimalism.”) Also, I tend to be sentimental about just about everything–clothing included–and I think the way you’re doing this would be great for someone like me, even if the thoughts were journaled rather than blogged. Thanks!
