Black Peep-Toe Pumps.
I bought these shoes with Item 26. I thought, “Oh, if I’m getting a black pair, I should get a nude pair if I want to switch it up!” Fantasy self.
These are Calvin Klein, they’re adorable and I loved them more than the Nude Pair (not Calvin Klein). These were only slightly more comfortable, but not by much. I remember wearing them once, but I’m pretty sure I suffered through the agony of wearing them at least three times. I wore them to a work event, standing around for at least an hour in them. It could have even been a graduation event.
But, as I mentioned previously in the shoe post; I hate my feet. I think the upkeep of my feet and me wearing them didn’t make me feel cute and I never wore them again. My poor toes.
My feet are grateful these are no longer in my closet, Black Peep-Toe Pumps.
Black Wool Pants.
I absolutely loved these pants and they were my favorites for a while. I don’t know if I got them at Target or Goodwill, but they served me well. I loved the way the fit, the design, and how comfortable they were. They were so warm too!
I love Target’s clothing a lot. I find so many cute items of clothing there that I wear until its death. I’ve mentioned that I’ve picked up a lot of what I’ve worn from Goodwill. Because my hometown is small, I find that their Goodwill is a GOLDMINE for things from Target brand new with tags. (I think Target must donate their end of season/unsold items there–can anyone confirm?)
I’m sadly parting with them because I noticed that the zipper comes down too easily so I was constantly checking myself while I was wearing them and that’s not a lot of fun. It’s actually an unnecessary stress.
I’m hoping that these pants can go on to someone else and maybe they won’t have the zipper trouble.
Passing you on, Black Wool Pants!
The Masquerade Mask.
I originally bought this mask while I was still living in my small hometown when I was invited to a co-worker’s masquerade themed party. I love parties, and I like dressing up, BUT I HATE MASKS. They hurt my face, they’re itchy, and end up giving me a headache.
But, I am a good sport. I got this mask from Party City so I didn’t pay much for it. It was prettier at the time. (I kept this stored with my Amy Winehouse Wig Item 19) The glue on it has yellowed some, but it’s still a pretty mask.
The last time I wore this mask was in July of 2013, when the guy I was seeing at the time invited me to a masquerade party in a brewery. It was fun, but I don’t think I wore the mask often that night. I probably wore it perched on my head the whole night.
I hate masquerade themed stuff. If I ever go another masquerade party, I’ll see if a friend has a mask I can borrow for the night.
Bye Masquerade Mask!
NOTE: I love this picture I drew. I spent a long time drawing it, although I’m not fond of the mask, I think I am honoring it greatly by this picture.
Black and White Patterned Jacket.
I’m almost certain I received this jacket with Item 21 for Christmas one year, and the story is pretty much the same. I had ever intention of wearing this item, it just never happened. Then I forgot I had it. I actually just found it when I was clearing out my closet to make new posts here. I didn’t think I had that many more clothing items, but I was surprised when I found about two dozen items to draw/paint, and write about.
This is a really cute item, it just doesn’t fit my personal style and I’m excited of the possibility for someone else to wear it and bring it to life.
Looking forward to your revival, Black and White Patterned Jacket!
I don’t really like to wear a lot of tan or khaki clothes, these were somewhat lighter. These pants weren’t too bad, but they were too large in the legs. Sometimes on a windy day, I would be too cold. They were also a little long so the bottoms of them would get wet and dirty a lot easier. The upper legs of the pants also started to pill a little because of rubbing against tables and sinks at work.
Bye Tan Pants!
Underwear (x 10).
I decluttered my dresser drawers recently. When I organized my underwear drawer, I got rid of ten pairs of underwear. These were just worn out. Some I had to throw away because they got ruined in the washer and dryer. (Crayons melted on them–art teachers probs).
This is also a shoutout to Aerie. I only buy their underwear, and have for about ten years. I love their quality and they’re super cute.
The Most Uncomfortable Black Pants Ever.
I bought these black pants at Goodwill, new with tags. I ALWAYS try things on when I purchase them. I don’t think I was in love with them when I purchased them, but was like, “Oh well, they’ll do.” These pants were straight legged, a little too long (it was not fun in winter when water soaked in the bottom of the legs.) These also did fit really well in the butt, they were kind of saggy.
I should have gotten rid of these pants a long time ago, but I kept them around as a “just in case” item. I don’t like them and I don’t feel good in them, so I’m happy to get depart with these pants.
Back to Goodwill with you, Most Uncomfortable Black Pants Ever!
Gray Puffy Coat.
This story’s beginning is similar to that of Item 7. This was probably one of the first items I received from my neighbor. I had every intention of wearing it. I actually received it before winter. I think I didn’t wear it because it was a tiny bit big. I like my clothes to be fitted. The coat I have now is my favorite because it is long, almost going down to my knees and is very warm. It’s the only coat I wear in the winter.
Finding you a new home, Gray Puffy Coat!
Mysterious Plaid Scarf.
I’m calling this “Mysterious Plaid Scarf” because I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE I GOT THIS SCARF. I was just going through my closet with my coats and saw it hanging on a hanger. Did someone leave it at my apartment? Was I gifted this? I have no idea where this came from. It’s cute, but it is big, bulky, and I’m sure incredibly warm and cozy to wear.
If this is your scarf, please claim it. Your plaid scarf misses you.
Nude Peep-Toe Pumps.
I wore these shoes twice, with Item 10. I bought them because I love the design of the shoes. Sometimes I struggle with reality me vs. fantasy me. Reality me hates my feet. Fantasy me rocks these heels. I am really pale and these shoes aren’t flattering with my skin tone. They look really strange.
Since I only wore them twice, I’m more than likely going to be selling them on Ebay. They’re in excellent condition, they just aren’t fitting “reality” Jessica.
Walk on, Nude Peep-Toe Pumps!
